Welcome to Lake District Self Catering. We specialise in 5 star, luxury self catering holiday accommodation. Our properties are of a superior quality both Grade II listed buildings. They are furnished to the very highest standards and located in the southern Lake District.
We have two self catering properties, one in Grange-over-Sands, also known as "The Lake District Riviera" and the other in lovely Cartmel village. Both are larger properties that are ideal for small to medium groups or family gatherings wishing to celebrate a special occasion. Ford House in Cartmel is an especially popular choice for wedding parties.

Ford House, Cartmel
Grade II listed cottage style property, sleeps up to 10. Stylish accommodation recently refurbished to the very highest standard. Situated in the lovely South Lakeland village of Cartmel, famous for its local races and sticky toffee pudding. |
On Saturday evening 'the special event' was celebrated with a 5 course meal served in the dining hall. The catering was prepared between 4 of the guests using the kitchen amenities which (particularly the Aga) ensured the food was to the highest standard and ensured we had the most memorable evening.
The house is so charismatic, including the roaming doll. We made use of all the rooms including the entrance lounge with log fire and the bar for celebratory drinks. David Unsworth
