Large Holiday Houses, Cartmel & Grange-over-Sands
Our self catering properties are located in the southern Lake District and you can choose between a historic 16th century manor house in Grange-over-Sands that can accommodate groups of up to 14 people or a period character home in the picturesque village of Cartmel, a large holiday house that sleeps up to 10 people. Both properties are 5 star Grade II listed buildings and exquisitely furnished to the highest standard for your ultimate comfort and enjoyment.
Weddings in the Lake District
Our properties are popular holiday lets for wedding guest groups. Everything you could need is close at hand to make your wedding that special occasion you always dreamed of. For the ultimate wedding service consider the historic Cartmel Priory, situated only a stone's throw away from the front door of our large holiday house in Cartmel. There are superb venues as well for your wedding reception, for example the Cartmel Racecourse provides the complete package for your wedding reception in Cartmel Park.
Also in Cartmel we have a local company where you can hire a horse-drawn carriage with beautiful black Friesian horses. Black Horses Limited can provide a splendid horse-drawn wedding carriage that will add a touch of class to your day.
In Grange-over-Sands there are some great venues too, the Netherwood Hotel makes for a stunning location for your wedding day, as does the Grange Hotel. Both are 5 minutes from our holiday group accommodation. Nearby churches include the Parish Church of St. Paul.
For all your wedding catering requirements we can recommend Karen Rhodes Wedding & Event Company, who supply a range of services up to full wedding coordination if required, or Andrew Southcott Catering, who specialise in marquee wedding catering.
Please note: Due to regulations and restrictions in force, we are unable to offer any of our self catering accommodation as a venue for wedding receptions.
